Vinland Saga; Ending after a long 20 year running span.
The epic saga has reached its conclusion Vinland Saga, the masterpiece by Yukimura Makoto, has officially ended with its final chapter released on July 25th, 2025. Publishing its last issue, with 220 chapters in total, this monumental series began its journey back in 2005, meaning many fans who started reading this in their youth are now full-grown adults!
A little about the Vinland Saga; revolving around the story of a boy named Thorfinn, who turned into a vengeful Viking warrior, journeying from bloodshed. Set in 11th-century Europe, the story evolves from Thorfinn's brutal battles making a living on the battlefield to setting out on a quest for peace through many hardships to find a place called Vinland, it is a story of much emotion and rigor.
As the final chapter loomed, Yukimura-Sensei took to Twitter to share his heartfelt gratitude and reflections. He opened up about the conclusion of this journey, his growth as a storyteller, and the wisdom gained over two decades of crafting this incredible series. Anime-Only Fans, Don’t Worry!

As of July 31st, 2025, there’s no official confirmation on Vinland Saga Season 3, but rumors suggest a potential late 2026 or early 2027 release. The delay? Wit Studio’s packed schedule, with major projects like:

- Ascendance of a Bookworm (Part 3 / Season 4)
- Agents of the Four Seasons (Season 1)

Kaiju no.8; Manga Officially Ending After 5 years!

When it comes to shonen hits in our library, Kaiju No.8 needs no introduction. This explosive series took the world by storm, bringing Kafka Hibino's incredible story to millions of fans. Creator Matsumoto Naoya had announced the manga's conclusion on twitter, with the 129th and final chapter releasing on July 18, 2025 wrapping up everything in one spectacular finale.
To mark this special occasion, Matsumoto-sensei shared a special commemorative illustration celebrating the manga’s 5-year run since its debut on July 3, 2020. The final chapter goes all out with extra pages, delivering a proper epilogue that gives this widely popular series its well deserved send off.
And what a journey it's been, with 18 million copies in circulation and a hugely successful anime adaptation by Production I.G starting its initial release of season 1, from April to June of 2024, to now a sequel, premiering its 2nd season, its best to expect that the studio still has plenty of material to cover for its anime fanbase!
