In 2001 Anri Katsu replaced seiyuu Yuusuke Ito as the voice of the character Takashi Akaboshi for "GIZOKU", and thus joined its seiyuu unit "G.I.zoku" (disbanded). Katsu was also one of the members of the seiyuu unit "Revolver" (disbanded).

Currently he plays guitar and is the lead vocalist for the new indie band "big fat duck".
